BorgoCiro Company built on a panoramic hillock, dominated by the mountain “Capita”, natural and wild reserve of Mediterranean scrub. It is about 8 km from the Tyrrhenian Sea. The Sangiovese, an ancient vine from central Italy, makes up 70% of the 3,660-acre vineyard vines (Sangiovese, Barbera and Petit Verdot), planted in 2006 exactly in the same place where the old settlers successfully cultivated the vine. Here they produce about 5,000 bottles a year. There is also an olive grove of over 700 trees (Canino, Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Pendolino), here they produced over 1,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil. “Here we make wines and oils that reflect the excellence of the nature that surrounds us, with the commitment and awareness that it must be protected and respected and that the hand
of man must support it, without using dangerous and harmful chemical aids and without chasing trends, fashions, but the healthy tradition. ”
