Tenuta Monteti

The history of this estate begins in 1998 when, after years of research, the two owners, Gemma and Paolo Baratta, found this beautiful corner of Tuscany, where they could realize their childhood dreams.
28 hectares of vineyards are worked respecting the nature and the environment through responsible agriculture. In 2017 it obtained the “Sustainable Wine” certificate for Caburnio and Monteti, as part of the V.I.V.A. “Sustainable Viticulture” of the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of the Territory and the Sea. The grapes are harvested manually and the processing phase takes place inside the cellar, using the gravity and applying a parceled winemaking and ageing method. Two red wines are produced, Monteti and Caburnio (both of the IGT denomination), and the TM Rosé.
